Narrowing the Skilled Labor Gap: Innovative Strategies for Attracting and Developing Talent in the Craft & Skilled Labor Fields Panel Discussion featuring: Darren Ash, Executive Director, The ROC (Rebuilding Opportunities in Construction), an Accredited Youth Apprenticeship Program and Courtney Ketchie Silver, President & Owner, Ketchie, Inc and Justin Sutton, Sr. Technical Training Manager at CTE (Carolina Tractor & Equipment). The discussion will be moderated by Chris Jackson, President & CEO, Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont. Description: Join us for a moderated panel discussion and luncheon that will focus on the critical gaps private business owners are facing as they seek to meet their demands for skilled, craft labor talent. The event will also provide an inside look at one of the region’s most collaborative efforts between industry and work force, the ROC, an accredited youth apprenticeship program providing classroom and hands-on laboratory learning of trades.
