Description: Join us for a workshop and breakfast. Shared ownership can be one of the ways that families choose to pass assets on to children and grandchildren.  Without a thoughtful structure to communicate expectations and responsibilities, these assets can quickly turn from a blessing to a burden.  It is crucial to think through the desired outcomes and also the unintended consequences of putting family members into a shared ownership arrangement. This workshop will be led by David Specht, Vice President and National Development Manager, Family Dynamics at Wells Fargo Wealth Management.

Who is this for? This workshop is designed for families that are preparing to make decisions on how ownership of assets should be set up. It is also relevant for private companies that are in shared ownership already and want to make the best out of the arrangement.

What will I learn? Attendees will come away with the necessary questions to consider to make the best decision for their family, their business and their assets regarding shared ownership. Attendees will also learn what guidelines and expectations can be set up to make the best out of the complexities shared ownership introduces.
