Description: The Clifton Strengths Assessment provides a positive-psychology approach to help you discover what you naturally do best.  This assessment and debrief helps you learn how to develop your greatest talents and use your customized results to live your best life.  Our session will speak to how we utilize a growth mindset to better how we work and play and to seek out others with complimentary strengths to balance a team. The session will be led by John Champlin, Manager, Professional & Organizational Development and Director, Alumni Engagement at Wake Forest University.

Who is this for? Although individuals are welcome to attend, it would be beneficial to teams if they experienced this exercise together to understand how their individual skills work in group dynamics.

What will I learn?  This workshop will provide an excellent opportunity to grow your own self-awareness and leadership capacity.

About the Speaker: John arrived on campus in August of 2002 from Richmond, VA and hasn't left Winston-Salem since. After graduating with his Bachelor's degree in 2006, he worked at Mit Shah's ('91) Noble Investment Group before returning to Wake Forest in 2011 to work in the Professional Development Center. He was awarded an MBA from the Wake Forest University School of Business in 2015 and joined the Alumni Engagement team in 2019. He works to develop programming and engagement opportunities with Third Act alumni and young alumni. John will also oversee Pro Humanitate planning and projects with alumni around the world.

Members of the Center for Private Business may attend this event for free. Non-Members are $50 per person. Registration is required by December 3, 2019.
