Description: In this 90 minute discussion, we will explore these questions and more including the special nature of family firms. We will talk about family company strengths & challenges, and the common steps that the long-lived ones take to assure long-term stability. Who is this for? This program is geared towards upper level high school students and college students. Parents are welcome to attend as well. What will I learn?
About the speaker:
For seventeen years, Roy Richards Jr. was Chief Executive of Southwire Company, the largest manufacturer of power cables in North America. He has led or served on nearly two dozen academic, social service, public and private company boards. He is currently an adjunct professor at the IE Business School in Spain and Wake Forest University. He also currently leads three social enterprises in the fields of environmental advocacy, land conservation and climate change. This program is open to all members, parents and students and is free to attend.
