DESCRIPTION

Your competitive advantage as an organization is dependent on the speed at which you adapt to change.  In today’s markets, characterized by globalization and technological innovation, you must respond to new opportunities and threats faster than your competition in order to survive and prosper.  Leading organizational change has become one of the most critical leadership responsibilities.  The good news is that there’s a road map to follow to increase the change capabilities of yourself, your employees, and your organization.

The Change Challenge – A Leadership Perspective is a two hour program that will give you that road map to:

• Provide an understanding how change done “by you” is different than change done “to you”.
• Understand and leverage the critical psychological and neuropsychological factors that get in the way of adapting to change.
• Use proven strategies and tactics to effectively move yourself and others through change.
• Understand the difference between how people move through change verses how organizations move through change.    

Program participants will engage in a series of teaching and interactive activities to apply what they are learning within their own organizations.  

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

• Examine some key models and concepts relevant to leading change.
• Understand the stages of change people must go through to adopt new ways of doing things – personal level.
• Understand the stages of change people must go through to adopt new ways of doing things – organizational level.
• Identify some key action steps.

Members of the Center for Private Business may attend this program for free. Non-Members are $50 per person. Registration is required.
